As an artist, I work hard to find what matters to me.

This series of bird drawings is reminiscent of my life as a step-child of a bird watcher.  The bird portraits have a victorian portraiture demeanor.  They are simple and serious, while being fresh and entertaining.

I try to create something that has never been seen before, while keeping the appearance of something that has always been there.  This challenge has brought forth many delightful surprises for me, as an artist.  I hope these works will do the same for the viewer.
